Among high fiber foods, like oatmeal, bran; fish, (for their omega 3); olive oil (keep it extra virgin); and foods that have added plant sterols or stanols (which help block absorption of cholesterol), such as organge juice, some yogurt drinks and some margarines; and nuts (like almonds, walnuts pecans, pine nuts, pistachio, hazelnuts) can assist in keeping blood vesssels healthy.
