Pecans have a high healthy oil content which will make pecan butter a lot smoother than our other nut butters. This nut butter will separate because of the high natural oil content. Stirring is required. The high oil content also makes for a thinner nut butter. By adding Cashews, this nut butter is thicker than plain pecan butter.
